ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Rip rap installation is the most popular choice for protecting your shore. The installation includes: shaping the slope of the area to a specific angle, covering the slope with the right textile fabric, securing the fabric from movement, covering that with rock of a particular size to the right depth. We can use granite, field stone, limestone, or even boulders for the rock material.
If a more natural look is your style we can use a combination of rip rap and aquatic plants, bio logs, and joint planting methods to strengthen and beautify your shoreline. Or we can even design the shore without rip rap.
Additionally, access to the water is often important and we can help there as well. Steps can be installed into the water or to a dock. A landing for your dock can be constructed or even installation of a beach!
